aptsay Private beta

Real-time conversation copilot · For macOS

The apt thing to say.
Every meeting.

AptSay listens to your sales calls and quietly surfaces the right answer, the right question, and the right next move — before the moment passes. Four channels, running in parallel, entirely on your Mac.

Local ASR. Your meetings never leave your Mac.

AptSay running during a live Tel Sales mock call: structured meeting notes on the left, SPIN Selling coaching suggestions on the right, and a real-time speaker-attributed transcript at the bottom.
Four channels running in parallel. None of it is sent to the cloud.

How it works

Three things happen in the background
so you can focus on the one thing that matters.

  1. 01

Bring AptSay into your next call.

A native macOS app. No meeting bots, no calendar invites, no "send AptSay to this meeting." It runs on your Mac, next to whatever you already use — Zoom, Meet, Teams, the phone.

  2. 02

    It listens locally.

On-device ASR turns the conversation into text, tracks who is saying what, and streams everything into four parallel channels — notes, insight, answer, correction. None of the audio ever leaves your Mac.

  3. 03

Say the right thing, right now.

While you are still talking, AptSay surfaces the question to ask next, the objection you just missed, and a ready-to-read response shaped by your sales framework. Glance down, speak up, keep the eye contact.

Four channels, running in parallel

One meeting. Four quiet assistants.

Notes
Clean, speaker-attributed transcript of the call. Indexed for search after the meeting ends — nothing to copy, nothing to clean up.
Insight
What matters in the last thirty seconds. Buying signals, pain points the customer dropped in passing, framework checkpoints you quietly skipped.
Answer
What to say, right now. Ready to read aloud, shaped by your coaching skill (SPIN, MEDDPICC, BANT, or whatever your team runs on).
Correction
ASR cleanup plus a one-line emotional read on the speaker. "Neutral, slightly impatient" means push for the close. "Curious" means keep opening.

Privacy

Your meetings never
leave your Mac.

Audio is transcribed on device. The rolling transcript is analysed locally, then only the minimum text context needed to draft a single coaching suggestion is forwarded through our routing layer — and even that is never stored, never cached, never used for training.

Your project documents live on your Mac. Your CRM stays your CRM.

Questions

The ones sales reps actually ask first.

Does my customer hear or see AptSay on the call?

No. There is no meeting bot, no tile in the grid, no recording notification. AptSay runs on your Mac only. The person on the other end never knows it is there — which is the only way it can stay focused on helping you.

What happens to my call audio?

It is transcribed on your Mac using a local ASR model. The raw audio is never uploaded anywhere. The rolling transcript stays in memory on your machine; only the specific text context needed to draft the current coaching suggestion crosses the network, and that context is never stored by our servers or sent to any model-training pipeline.

Which sales frameworks does it coach against?

SPIN, MEDDPICC, BANT, and a general discovery framework ship in the private beta. You can also write your own skill — a markdown file with your playbook — and AptSay will coach against that framework in real time.

Which meeting platforms does it work with?

It listens to anything running on your Mac's audio — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Slack huddles, Webex, an inbound phone call through a softphone, or an in-person meeting captured through your Mac's microphone.

Will my team need to change anything in Salesforce / HubSpot?

No. AptSay is read-only during the beta — it learns your deals from what you tell it at the start of each meeting. Automatic CRM write-back is on the roadmap, not a precondition.
